“We can lift ourselves out of ignorance,
we can find ourselves as creatures of excellence and intelligence and skill.

We can be free!
We can learn to fly!”

Jonathan Livingston Seagull is a story for everyone who love the sky but are afraid to fly. Flying is our nature, freedom is our nature and we are only bound by our limiting thoughts. The thoughts have the power to make you a devil and they can make you divine too. The choice is always there and there are some rare Jonathans who choose the later.

Freedom comes with a price and only he should avail it who is ready to pay the price. Jonathan was a lover. He loved to fly and hence was ready to pay any price for it and it was only love that took him to greater heights.

One has been blessed with this precious gift called life and it offers you endless possibilities. Not living it completely is indeed a disrespect to this precious gift.

The start is the most difficult part of a flight as it falls under the unknown category and doesn’t offer any security but one needs to start from exactly where you are right now. One small step and then the next steps find their own way and soon you find that it was way more difficult in your head than in reality. Jonathan was blessed to have the strength to take the one step and soon there was no need to take any more steps as he learnt to fly high.

“For each of them, the most important thing in living
was to reach out and touch perfection
in that which they most love to do,
and that was to fly.”
